The vivo X100 Pro will have a 100mm periscope with a 64MP sensor

The periscope will have a wide aperture to help the phone in low light. The lenses on the X100 Pro will use Zeiss know-how in their designs.

      Software must be fixed first, there is a notification issue with vivox90pro+. This is a major setback. Also Google assistant hands free feature is disabled, couldn't be activated.

        Useless if it's still 3.5x and not 10x...
        Also, that Dimensity processor it's a big minus.

Many perisc... moreIn practice, the sensor size only matters at the base ISO if you have two different cameras with different sensor sizes but the same physical aperture size. For example, a full frame paired with an f3 lens and an APS-C with an f2 lens perform almost identically if those lenses cover the same field of view, except when shooting at the lowest ISO settings.

          I was making a comparison to another periscope camera since comparing the aperture size of a main camera and a telephoto camera wouldn't be really meaningful given the contexts. I expect Vivo's periscope camera to perform fairly admirably even in low light, as long as the main subject is stationary.

            This is good. Periscope telephoto is finally "trickling" down from the Ultra/ProPlus/whatevs to Pro models. About goddayum time!

              the cameras from my x90 pro+ are hands down the best i've used and i had a s23 ultra in my house for months to compare with and now an iphone 14 max
              the only complain is about battery life, is good but not great, they need to fit a 5000mAh and solve the idle draining that many complain about. S23 ultra had about 1 30h + of screentime compared to vivo, but everything else, camera, fingerprint sensor, face unlock and others vivo wins easily and was the best replacement for my huawei

                I guess it's hard slapping a better sensor and better chipset while keeping cost to similar pricing. Still, I hope Omnivision will have a good enough sensor. Just wondering why they don't use the Samsung sensor of yesteryear.

                  Wish they would use a 50mp tho, to have the same resolution across all cameras.

                    OV64b is way worse than imx589 vivo used to have.

                    Be sure in day light this is gonna require SS faster than 1/1200s for barely decent results.

                        The periscope lens will have a diameter of around 7mm - That would take in an impressive amount of light, given how Find X6 Pro's already-fairly-massive periscope lens "only" has a 6.4mm diameter in comparison. Well done Vivo.

                                100mm means 4x zoom at 25mm focal length. That's a shame since both X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ has 5x zoom sensor.

                                  Not everything is visible here on gsma reviews, when there are even hi res sw or tele samples missing, or hdr raws.
                                  Maximum ISO limit, raw output color/detail from hdr+/hi res.
                                  Corner sharpness visible best with hi res, distortion of lens, DN/ filter mount options, ability to zoom while recording video. Comparison to likes of Sony A1.
                                  I did expect it to arrive sooner, but hopefully will Vivo get lens, processing and color to new heights...

                                    If the pixel 8 pro disappoints me, I don't think so, since with a flat panel and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, it is a winner for me, but this vivo x100 pro plus does not look bad, just as I liked the x90 pro plus but never He left China and this one won't either
