Jeik, 15 Sep 2023So they are selling almost the same phone in China for 350 ... moreI know the feel. I'm in Europe and across the Border the Xiaomi 13 costs € 850 in the official Mi-Store. Where I live it's still the full € 999. Tax difference is litteraly 1% so that's not it.
Some Countries just get better deals, others worse.
I could just drive across the Border and get the cheaper one but I think even € 850 is too much for the Xiaomi 13. I'll just wait for the Xiaomi 14 launch, I'm sure the 13 will get below € 600 then.
Before anyone recommends Alternatives; I'm interested in a "smaller" Phone and the Galaxy S23 and Xperia 5 V are also not worth their Price to me at the Moment. I can wait until Winter for either better Prices or better Phones.

So they are selling almost the same phone in China for 350 € and for 1000€ in the EU.
If this isn't a wakeup call for smartphone owners, I don't know what is.

$1000? What exactly is xiaomi on . I thought their T series were meant to be flagship killers . This is already bordering on the price of a flagship .

Xiaomi 12T pro had SD 8+ gen 1.
The "T Pro" models always have better processors than the main line.

At this point even the iPhone 15 Pro is more worth getting than this overpriced 13T Pro. Can't believe we've reached a time when I'd be saying this but here we are.

The funny thing is, Dimensity 8200 is more efficient and therefore better SOC for most users of these phones.
