sorry to friend who bought the E71 out of interest it really is a no understandable move by nokia but i think the price of the E66 and E71 will be lowered or these two will come in and the E72 will be a cheaper version but nonone the less alost every E series (excpt for the first few) is a great phone, just used a friends E66 today and it was great, considering the E71 but gonna wait for these two to come first, cheers!

I think the Nokia ESeries are more grown up this year than NSeries. Only Blackberry can compete this bussiness phone series.
Bussiness phone more using software than hardware, not like multimedia phone. Also Nokia are best in software as always.

I would have preferred only the T9 but otherwise a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a much bigger screen could have been cool as well. Too bad, looks nice besides from this.

If you have a slide-out qwerty there's no need for a conventinal (old-fashioned) keypad. The keypad restricts the screen size dramatically. This is a FUNDAMENTAL DESIGN FAULT. I would've been most interested if the screen took streched across the keypad but not with a small screen, and I call 2.4" small

i find it cheap for nokia to buy symbian company with their hardwork though the years developing sybiam. so now "belongs" to nokia. great. riches own, others owned.

just when you think you had the latest and the greatest...but nokia needs to get over touchscreen phobia, don't get the point with the slide factor if the screen is still just 2.4". it's the e71s only weak point. btw, opera mini is definitely faster than the nokia browser on e71.

                                Hi.......
                                I have used e51,
                                and now use e61i,
as far as iam concerned , symbian is not stable,
backup phone memory by memory card is faulty in the event of phone getting formatted, even if memory card is removed for formatting phone and inserted after formatting , most applications stop working.
If you happened to save some pages while surfing and delete them later on, they do not vacate phone memory.
In both e51 and e61- the incoming call quality is poor and also not audible.
And the cameras are unusuable not even for mms sending or for email attachmenrts for business purposes.
In future i will stick to n series phones ...
                                Thanks everybody......

alastiar, 20 Sep 2008@Marwan "Or imagine a phone that can project whatever is on... moreWell my friend, many things that are taken for granted today were distant dreams somewhere along the way.

Normal projectors don't perform in day light all that well either, but they are very functional, and quite handy. : ) and there's a market for them. And since its all about my and your imagination, imagine some Nseries, with some hefty storage and Wi-Max, download a movie, turn off the lights, and project it to a wall. : ), as for audio, well... N78, N85, N79 all have FM Transmitters. : ) that would be a good option for audio, ...

anyhow, its just a fantasy dream for the time being, since projectors now, radiate alot of heat, that can't be handled by something as small as phone, that has no Fans to cool it down. And the construction of a current projector is way too big.

but again, you never know... Mobile Phones, Radios, and any electronic gadgets and computers have been of enormous sizes two decades ago.

I was just letting my imagination run wild, within some reasonable limits.

                                      cheers
