Samsung produces the chip > You use it and it's getting hot > Thermal throttle a.k.a performance is automatically slowened down to reduce the heat.

So we'll have to see. Maybe 7 Gen 1 was kinda awful because of the also inefficient A710+A510 cores.

          Who cares how the chipset is called, you're supposed to be the tech savy people here, you will know which processor is better by comparing the benchmarks before making a purchase, not by looking at the name itself. Otherwise it will be YOUR fault for making a compulsive purchase just because you thought Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 by name and date of release alone would be more powerful than a 7+g2 for example (included in the Poco F5, which will be the most direct competitor to the Redmi Note 13 Pro, pricewise.

                        jerem06, 18 Sep 2023This is very intriguing: it is faster than the Dimensity 72... moreBecause it has slower GPU. Geekbench is Cpu only so it doesnt show its weak gpu, but Antutu is both hence Gpu perfomance reduce overall score.

                                    Seems that CPU wise defeats Dimensity, but GPU wise is a bullcrap.

                                      Good, if this is above the performance of the 778G this is more than enough for most people.
