        So, does this measure HRV? Does it estimate VO2Max? I don't see any mention of either.

        Without these, especially HRV, it is already not competitive with Apple, Garmin, Pixel or Samsung.

I have the mi band 6 now and the flash light feature comes in handy too. It also can trigger the camera.

            Prices and specs are definitely super cool.

                  Managed to preview the watch 2 pro hours before launch.
                  The app interface was suspiciously similar to Apple’s.

                  Same for Band 8. Was really smooth! While it’s limited to only fitness functions, Definitely better than those goofy Apple Watch replicas I’ve just seen (they’re much more expensive)

                        With previous S1, you basically had a glorified activity tracker, and it even lagged during scrolling.
                        You couldnt even store music on it and it barely got any updates.

                            Tracking ? But how accurate are the measurements of all that ? Like real data on calorie burn, distance covered or correct of running or cycling ? If there was a multimedia watch like Apple Watch but as sporty as Garmin Fenix or Epix with their build quality.

                                  What's with the mega-bezels on this thing? Totally unnecessary - get rid of them! But at least Xiaomi has some memory whereas before it was just barely enough to run the OS. Lose the bezels...lose the bezels...lose......

                                    I use my mi Band 4 mainly as a watch and for notifications. And During work outs I use the media control interface for music control.

                                    And since using the mi Band my phone never rang loud in public. I always lower the volume so that nobody gets annoyed by a loud ringing smartphone.
