Lol, this is obviously a massive failure and it will not succeed. Price is insane and people not really dumb enough to believe future is to wear some crap on your head and predict it's normal when you socialise with other people :D it should be used only for immersive VR experience and for nothing else, but for the given price even, that is basically out of question.

Until I saw the picture on this article, I forgot that the headset required you to be tethered to an external battery pack. Not even the most hardcore Apple fanboy that defend that design decision.

1. watch a sports game live as if you were there or with some drone footage;
2. watch a movie like a theater (already a thing);
3. play games in vr;
4. have your workspace private (no monitors) and unrestricted in terms of screen size of where you are (a library).
This is an amazing product that so far needs developers, people to normalize being seen using it (like with the airpods when they launched) and a price cut (maybe.. depends how they do it).

Among all Apple products, this one is definitely not in my list and never going to buy. Like "never". What I want is something like the scout goggles in Dragonball Z. Not this big ass goggles that is even bigger than your head 🤦🏻♂️ same goes to others VR headset out there 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

I really hate Apple but their presentation actually made me want one but not for that price. The idea of a spatial computer (vision filling gigantic screen) is really cool and the M2 is powerful enough for my needs.

I don't think it's because of hardware shortages, more of lack of interest.
Like always Apple is lagging behind the times. Was it 2017 this was a popular topic or 2018?
Apple still has one tech left, but i don't think they will ever implement it, even if they hire more engineers than PR or marketing people.

Could be more interesting than folds, as there is plenty of space for big sensors and lens lol.
Won't be cheaper than fold tho, or it could? Since it won't be so hard to build with more space available than in folds.
If you could put it on and take it off way faster and in simple way, it would be more user friendly.
Well not that it needs this with so many orders coming...
