People are on the fence - the 13T series has some major upgrades compared to the 12T models, but the price is an issue for some.

I'm happy enough with my 13t. In Indonesia, this is the only variant that available. With price around $430, there is no better option at the moment.

Very weak performance compared to the hardware they offer. They should consider outsourcing if they can't be bothered hiring a good enough team in-house.

I really liked their Zenfone 9 and 10, but having short software support is a big no-no for the prices Asus was asking.

        Having used 5Z in the past, updates from Asus were not particularly bug-free either. You would expect having small numbers of phones to support would mean faster response and better quality control from Asus, but you would be wrong. Bugs introduced with an update would usually be ignored until the next update 2 or 3 months later.

          Only got new phone because mine had some components failing.
          If it was 100% fine, woukd still be using.

If I like my phone I'll have it at least 3 years to 5. There's no point in changing it so often, tech is very similar on all flagships and high end phones.

              They're great options if you're coming from the Apple ecosystem. Miui's layout is similar, not to mention the control center rip off. I wouldn't mind one if they provided a headphone jack for their 'premium audio'

                      Kindly ask your self what important you get with update???
                      Many phones works even many years after last update.
                      Have plenty of customers which use something like Samsung S4 mini. Sony Z5 mini, Lenovo A7010 etc. Updates long time gone but phone still perfectly working for calling messages, facebook, tiktok and many else.
                      You dont need latest android update to use google chrome for example.
                      The maybe only important thing for you should be security patches but if you instal for free something like Avast Antivirus even said security patches arent that necessary.
                      For example in Samsung phone you receive 3-5 updates every single day to UI, Galaxy Store or Google play store apps. I would be bored and tired to run all of them every single day. Glad in case of my Motorola i run update list once a week and are free from constant updating apps which are pefectly working even if you skip updates for several months.

                        If you check the Photo Comparison Tool to compare the photo quality of the main sensor between the 13T Pro to the 12T pro, you can see how much better the 12T pro is in both under Good Light and Low Light. 12T Pro captures more detail. The main sensor is what we often use when we take every day regular photos. In that sense, the 13T pro is actually a downgrade in camera.

                              The Pro is nearly 200 USD more expensive than the regular one in my country. This makes choosing between the two much more difficult.

                                  Reason is very simple for litterary same price bought this july Motorola Edge 40 pro which does same or even better tricks and is free from excessive fat called bloatware UI.
                                  Still better than Samsung but very far from stock android.
                                  And apart the horrible curved screen on my device i am very happy with its performance.

Basically the Pro and standard T are exactly similar spec per spec except for the chipset and charging. It even have the same camera system. Even if processing isn't same. But everything else is merely identical. Probably cause of the Pro moniker.

                                      Compared to the 10T, 11T and 12T vs their Pro counterpart, the 13T series isn't really different by much which means the 13T is the better buy if you don't mind the slightly slower hardware.

                                        Voted not right for me just because im not yet planning to buy a new phone (at least for myself) this year.
                                        I ordered the k60 ultra (aside from k60 that i bougjt for my brother) but im not sure if going to use it as my secondary device.
