moslimsuitroeien, 09 Oct 2023i like smaller phones please come back even xperia 5 series... moreI want to use medium size phone too, it is reason why i still use samsung galaxy s4 mini. It is last medium size phone from samsung.

ShubhamDeshmukh, 09 Oct 2023Let me school you on few facts with research so you regain ... moreBy what logic is a "plus" phone categorized as normal? The word plus or max in the title is literally put there to indicate it's larger than average. Best case scenario, the S23 and iPhone 15/15 Pro are in the "average" category, and anything smaller than 70mm wide is "small" in relation to that average. There are no truly compact or mini phones available in the current gen, because they would be in a category smaller than small (say 67mm wide or less, using the other scales and working backward).

iPhone 12/13 mini was almost perfect for me, and many others (they sold better than the iPhone 14/15 pluses, at least). I would've enjoyed a slightly smaller phone, but beggars can't be choosers.

I used to buy the mini versions of the Samsung phones from the S3 mini to the S5 mini as I hated big phones. As there was no S7 mini, I opted for the A3 2017.
I bought a Galaxy S10 in 2020 and owning a small phone is a thing of the past.

I regret buying small phones and should of gone with the flagships as you eventually get used to the size of the after several months.

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2023That was unwarranted. Apologise!Grade 2 teachers be like:

I had S4mini and I preferred it although, I had money to buy a regular S4. I was quite happy with it. screen, speed and camera were OK. one had operation and portability was great. I used it for almost 2 years and I replaced it with another compact flagship sony z5 compact. since then,I've always used compact flagships...galaxy s9 and now s23. once you get used to compact phones' comfort, it is hard to change it. I wished apple had more android competitors except samsung with compact flagships.

Tiny (64 mm): iPhone 12 mini, 13 mini

                          Smaller (67 mm): iPhone 6, 7, SE, SE (2022)

                          Small (70 - 72 mm): iPhone 12 / 13 / 14, Galaxy S22 / S23 , S10e , Pixel 6a / 7 / 8

Standard (74 - 76 mm): S23 plus, Pixel 8 pro, every other low-end & midrange last few years (Samsung / Xiaomi / Motorola / Nokia)

                          Large (77 - 78 mm + ): iPhone Max, S23 ultra, new Samsung midrangers (F23, A23, A34, A54)

The iPhone mini was too tiny. Nobody wants that, not even me. It is almost as if Apple mocked the hell out of people asking small phones from Samsung & other Android makers. It was Samsung that needed to act on this, not Apple.

Do a Phone Finder search on Samsung, width < 72 mm (exactly S23 / iPhone 14 size). You won't find a single low / midrange phone in their entire line up of 2022, 2023

Almand, 09 Oct 2023The real question is, is there a market for Mini phones?! E... moreNope there ain't any market for these.
Cause most mini phones can't last a day of charging because of small battery.
Today's large phones can easily give decent 1 day back up if anyone stays outside home or office and use various type of apps like communication, map, some entertainmaint, banking, shoping etc.
Doing all these on mini phones while staying outside will force the user to carry power banks.
I am telling cause i am using phones since those mini days.
The main thing i miss is the user removable battery which is not possible even with today's large 6 inch plus phones.
I think most phones crosses 7 inch if we count the body, not the screem size.
