I feel like you can't go wrong with either of this phones . It all boils down to which you prefer between android and ios . They both deliver well in all aspects of a phone

    Great review, hope after you get Pixel 8 Pro make same test on cameras with iPhone and Samsung. Its very helpful info for those who is wondering which phone to buy.

      The utter denialism in this comparison is beyond any excuse. Compare the shots of the skyscrapers a 100%. The amount of digital noise in the iPhone shot makes it unusable. I'd even go so far as to say Samsung 100x doesn't look much worse per pixel than Apple's 10x.
      Look at the lower right bit of the skyscraper on the iPhone photo. "Hey that's a lot of garbled noise!". Then look at the Samsung photo. "Oh! It's the reflections deforming on the glass surfaces!.

                Comparing a phone with main purpose is to use Pen against one that does not have one?

                  In this vs the difference is a matter of taste* both terminals are good, I have seen videos of the iPhone 15 pro Max and it is impressive.... the s23 ultra also makes incredible videos

                        The only thing I wish was that the Ultra series was a bit more narrow.

                        I don't ask much but even 76mm would be more doable than the current ones (S23U owner here)

                          The iPhone produces a lot of fake detail. I compared the iPhone 15 Pro Max camera with a Pixel 7 Pro at approximately 360mm and in one case the 15 Pro Max image looked sharper, but the details were all completely wrong/fake (for example wrong letters/words) whereas the 7 Pro showed the correct words/letters. So the 7 Pro had a much higher true sharpness.

                          It is important that reviewers test which details are true and which details are fake. I nearly never see camera reviews where this is examined.

                          The iPhone is definitely not a camera that journalists should use.
