But why would they do this? Google's Tensor G1 and G2 used just 2 Cortex X cores and were quite energy inefficient with overheating problems and poor battery life. Smartphones are absolutely stuffed with background processes these days, and people underestimate the use case of Cortex A5x cores. Expect a fast but horribly overheating chip with battery life from 10+ years ago.

Guys this isn't possible in real life four Cortex X4 on a mobile chipset oh come on? It's like a phone with four 1 inch sensor.
There only two possibilities:
1- it's completely false leak
2- the specs are true but this isn't Dimensity 9300, rather it's just a new PC made chipset by mediatek
Four Cortex X4 can make this thing hotter than the sun surface

In this regard, Qualcomm is a lot better. Maybe the situation has changed and things are better now, it's a long time since I've had a MediaTek device.

8 performance cores is a overkill in mobile phones that will destroy battery and thermals, maybe it will be used in chromebooks
