Always go for Intel if you want to avoid problems with Windows 11. Ryzen is full of problems.

Mediatek sux, 17 Oct 2023In what? Density? Power efficiency? Source?First learn about meaning of nanometers and you'll know. It's literally plastered all over the internet how transistor gates are measured differently between Intel's fab and others like TSMC.

IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY. How many times I have to repeat that? Even if Intel's 14900K was made on latest TSMC fab, it would probably only have slightly different power envelope. It's just how chip is designed and clocked.

justasmile, 17 Oct 2023Apple's chips, thanks to good optimisation, will also ... moreIf that 'freedom' correlates to more access to video games, more software options, more customisation and more freedom of components for real price competition / product choice to personalise the product to your own needs then yeah ... give me some of that freedom you seem sceptical of. Reminds me of Android vs Apple phones, you get what you're given with Apple, with Android you have real freedom and I've had cheap phones to save money,

I've had the choice of picking phones with specialised use cases (whether you want great camera or latest processor etc. whether you was a fan of curved screens like the samsung s7 / s8 days, whether you just liked the look of a different phone etc.) and now I'm even on a Z fold 5 which is amazing for games, reading and video viewing. That's the problem with Apple, they're always behind and if I wanted a foldable on android there's been 5 generations of Samsung foldable before Apple has even announced one. Now I feel like I've seen the real innovation and revolution of entertainment on a phone and Apple is dawdling in the old ages pretending they're innovative.

I'm not going to insult them too harshly because I'm not a massive hater, if you want a typical bar phone they're not bad but they're still not diverse enough in my mind and that lack of options is what is leaving them behind.

How does it compare to the ryzen 7000 series?

Well the difference is so small in I9 that we can assume buying older year CPU with much better price would make this easy pick over the new CPU with almost zero in difference.

Basically, only go for intel for more 'freedom'.

These names like 18A, 7nm, 16nm, and whatnot are just names. These processors are not actually fabricated to these sizes. But the names work well enough to fool the most important people there is to fool, which is the investors.

Intel’s 10nm process is more comparable to TSMC’s 7nm process.

                                        Second point
Are you blind enough to not understand the answer of question, in what aspect they are comparable? I've already told you they are comparable in performance. Intel 10 nm and tsmc 7nm are similar in performance.
