That's the price if they only bought the components for 1 phone. But as they buy in very large quantities, millions, the price for each component for sure is much lower!
Every year the same kind of news, trying to throw us sand into the eyes to justify that the prices must go up because "oh look, the components are much more expensive..."

Well to be honest any a... moreAs owner of 15 Pro Max who always bought the smaller compact regular Pro, i would say the titanium frame is game changer, if that's only reason why the 15 Pro and Pro Max feels so light. This phone is joy to hold even for very long period, it feels as light as my old 13 Pro. Everyone will feel the weight difference right away when they hold the phone for the first time.

        $50 just for a fancy frame!!!!!!

        Well to be honest any aircraft grade Aluminium Alloy would cost a fraction,even that ridiculous stainless steel would cost half of this ridiculous fancy Titanium frame.

        Smartphone innovative seems peaked, now we're just seeing here & there incremental changes just to present it as a "Brand New Phone"

          Apple should start using xiaomi suppliers or so to get lower prices.
