I'd rather buy a beat-up iPhone 6 (reference to an old comment)

Nice specs and etcetera, but there are other rugged phones coming with better chipsets and other stuff.

Unihertz will release a new version of its Tank model with D8200, the same 200MP main camera + ultrawide + night vision + telephoto, 23800mAh and 120W fast charging and display with a punch hole for 50MP selfie camera.

Oukitel is announcing WP30 Pro, which also comes with D8050, 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage, 120W fast charging, 11000mAh battery and more.

No matter how thick the phone is as there is never enough space to fit camera in the phone without the bump island. This phone seems to be like 20mm thick or so and still have the camera bump.

And crazy expensive too for over 400 euro.
For just 10800mAh battery phone as it's like only D7050 that should be at least D8100-8200 to have this high price for the phone

I would buy any new Nokia phone than buy that

Of course you shouldn't buy unless you want to 'bonk' criminals on their heads.

you have to suffer, 02 Nov 2023would be nice if equipped with galaxy note 9 screen style a... moreIndeed. It's time to bury these ugly V shaped notches. U shaped ones are acceptable at best but they price and availability of punch hole screens has become more than cheap enough to move to that kind of screens or simply us a screen without any notch or punch hole. The top bezels are always more than big enough to house everything such as camera's, sensors, speakers...). Doogee has a mini rugged device that is made that way, a clean screen and everything is placed in the bezel above.

You shouldn't buy any Doogee devices. They are all kind of dodgy and the after sales support is simply inexistent. I've used different ones from the brand but they all came with issues and bugs that simply aren't addressed. Software support isn't happening either so if you buy one, know that getting security updates is more of lottery and major upgrades will not happen (at least that is my experience). And that is a petty for a device aimed at active or especially people working in construction who need rugged devices but they often also use application with confidential information and when a device doesn't get regular security patches then it's a risk. Also, they are all but cheap devices. On the positive side, the ones I got to play with were really well build so no complaints on that part except for the hideous screens they use.

would be nice if equipped with galaxy note 9 screen style aka non-cutout style. V notch in 2023?? NO🙅‍♂️🙅‍♂️

It's a shame such phones aren't officially available outside of China. Network compatibility, after sales services, spares etc, tedious warranty claim procedure and import taxes make this impractical purchase BUT the device itself is super appealing and I really wish I could buy this like I'd just buy a phone from Amazon or Flipkart

They should expand shipping to African countries too

"rugged smartphone that you shouldn't buy yet"
                            ..or ever

Nice of Doogee for having pre-applied screen protector on a rugged phone 😁 😅

Camera bump design looks very similar to ZTE'S nubia Z50S Pro

This phone may be a good choice while in a field triping
