There are like 100 manufacturers and maybe 5-10 guarantee updates and most only guarantee 2 years. The whole point of software updates for 6 years is not about you bro. Where do you think the phone goes when you trade it in? Lol. They don't just toss them out. They get refurbished And used in other countries or secondary market. The longer the updates the more it lasts before becoming e waste. Smh. A lot of people like myself can't stand Samsung UI and all the bloatware and double every app.

justasmile, 03 Nov 2023Looks nice.Yeah, promising. At this point, I'm even more hyped for the IQOO 12 than the X100 series

You need to experience the world outside your pond. 23 ultra must be a great option for you. I was using S22 ultra and it was a great phone with an outstanding camera. now using IQOO 11 legend but I find camera can't match samsung but it is a powerful phone with 120W charging. Full charge within 30 min. That's a great feature if you are a busy person with a lot of calls and using camera. And you were saying about long terms software support. Everyone doing that. And who is using a phone more than 2 years. Try Sony phones as well. Great phone as well
There is a lot of flexibility in Android. Come out from that pond and enjoy the world.

Money doesn’t grows on tree. Anyways most people are like that and sometimes they have been regretted for their decisions. This iqoo 12 pro is grear value phone. If they don’t want bloatware then s23 series are good . I am not saying that iphone is a bad phone but there are good iphone models which is worth eg: Vanilla iphone 15

It's not even that, it's also the nanometer size. I'd say 7nm was when SoC tech was getting serious. Then the next wave was 4nm, which Qualcomm is using for the SD8 Gen 3 chipset.
