Companies should really look into making the screens as DIM as possible. Surely I am not the only one in the world who uses a smartphone around the time when going to sleep and waking up. Even at lowest brightness, it's like staring at the sun. Need 3rd party apps and even they don't always work that well.

3000 nits on what percentage of the screen?

Race for numbers with shitty user experience

It's probably for HDR videos and movies why are people acting like it's brightness with slider or HBM under direct sunlight.
Having 1000 nits with slider and 2000 with auto brightness under sunlight would already be awesome.

Wonder how’s the longevity of the panel being driven that bright.

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2023Great, now we have brightness war. Why do we even need that... moreYou use it outside in the middle of the day when the sun is directly shining down on you and you need to see your screen.

Well Realme going to release new super bright torch for upcomming summer olympic games.
Now we can use morse codes by front screen to say halo to cosmonauts visiting Moon.

3000 nits OLEDs are the new rage after the calm of the 120Hz storm.

I hate curved displays. There is absolutely no advantage and no sense to make curved display. Stupid Samsung started the trend and got stuck with other suppliers as well.

Will enevr arrive in the Philippines anyway.

This reminds me when Sony first launched a 4k display phone. Completely unnecessary feature that just drains the battery. Who would even use 3k nits? That will leave a burn in within months😂

Great, now we have brightness war. Why do we even need that much brightness? Even 1000 nits works fine.
