i wouldn't trust apple with any numbers. They.ve got no proof it's 50 billion. They dont even release sales figures.

i think only problem 3g on ios 4 .. after fix until now , there no problem ... i think he been paid by samsung...

Combine Apps with Music and Video, and it ... moreno it does not at all. i have google and IOS and both have their good and bad points, there is as much music as i could ever need on both OS's, apps are almost on a par, and in general the content is the same, of course there android exclusives and there is IOS exclusives, but to suggest that the IOS store is so much better is complete rubbish, there is not one app i cannot get for my android that is not on IOS, now if you was making this comment about blackberry or windows, then you would be right probably but i have never used either of them so i do not know the extent of their available content, if anything, then google is better because it is generally cheaper, and apps that are free on android are sold on itunes, good business sense yeah maybe, but i would personally have the odd advert appearing now and then rather then have to pay for something that is free anyway

AnonD-146122, 16 May 2013They said it right after Google announed their 48 Billion a... morewhile i see your point, it is in fact genuine, i have an galaxy s4, but i also have ipad mini, and on the itunes app store there has been a counter running for the past few weeks, the last time i saw a week ago it was about 49.8 billion and counting, having said that though, android is easily surpassing IOS and within around 2 months it will in fact surpass IOS, android is younger then IOS and it was not really until about 3 years ago that android apps started to progress and compete, so apple had a very good 2 year head start, but with android users downloading 2.8 billion apps a month now, it will be google who reaches the next milestone first, 100 billion!

Apple app store has been available for longer (about one generation) and for every new generation iphone one person purchases, he or she downloads the same apps all over again. Obviously one has to buy the latest model at any point not to be lame/outdated.
Android devices have a longer life span in that sense, and thus one need not re-download same apps as often. Still, Apple is now at 50 while Google has passed 48, so not bad from Google.
Anyways, it's not the number of downloaded apps that matter, but active devices generating profits from paid apps and purchases made in any apps. It doesn't matter to me, nor should it matter to anyone other than those working in any of the respective companies. As long as I get the apps I want/need - I'm happy :)

I dont like Apple because iOS6 and iOS7 got proble for 3G network is error and crash all time update but Andriod better for update 1 year and work refund back my money and never crash for andriod i have been selled iPhone 5 dont any more buy again iphone and i have already Sony Xperia Z have good for waterproof and properly for 3G network too fast internet is fine i am happy Andriod and i am NOT HAPPY iOS is rubbish no refund??????

guys why don't you just become android and you'l get $1000000000000000000 instead of 10.000 for applications! everything is free here guys and all of us(android users) are winners wake up..mp3s,videos,software,movies everythiiiiiiiing! no need to spent your money, no need to make your life harder...Google is the answer guys, android the solution...peace!
