They throttled phones earlier, on the pretext of batteries
The cost of replacing rear panel is still in hundreds 💰
Cost of battery replacement is raised to a $99 plus tax
Battery degradation is now lot faster than usual
And of course they regularly degrade cameras as well
That's why I don't buy iPhone, cause apple tries to extract money from their customers as long as they are using the phone

Batteries degrade but the level of degradation on apple batteries is something else. I'm not surprised tho because the cost of replacing battery is astronomical high for iPhones, and they're just making sure a customer gets it replaced at least a once or twice so to make additional revenues 💰

Either we can conclude that Apple is emphasizing too much on planned obsolescence, or that their products are of poor quality 👍

Apple is making it very Apple-centric only, and while u can still find independant developers still appearing in their Apple store, it goes thru a long 'stringent' checking before its rolled out.
Whilst for Android, almost anyone with the skills to develop can do their own app, safe or not is another thing and made installable via APK etc.
As for 5~10 children, i doubt current standards will have that many families in such state.
If there is, most are much well-off to have that much children as a normal family would be at 2~3 (and enough problem also). Phone or gadgets go-afters these days are mainly for the following reasons:
- To flaunt; be it they are rich or they have the latest newest gadgets even if they don't know how to use it.
- To make quick bucks out of them; content creators like JRE etc does this in their own unique manner to gain attention and push for publicity of their actual intention; be it attention to their own merchs or current biz they already established or circle of biz friends.
- To launder money fast; gadgets aside from properties are one of the most sought after possessions where its easily used to whitewash dirty money to clean ones, esp the unique or top end flagships class where not many normal users will go to and they usually carry abt 3~100s of them. Don't be surprised, there are alot out there and all comes here to this site interestingly to get updated of the latest.

More tha... moreYeah there are lots of "if's" there, but I'm talking about normal conditions and normal use. Go check Twitter (X) and there are lots of tweets from iPhone 13 and 14 owners complaining about their battery getting degraded too much and way too soon
Now don't tell tell they all live in Sahara desert so that's the reason

But in my country which is small and poor many people buy iPhone to show off. And they pretend that their old iPhone is better than latest Samsung. Especially kids feel shame when using an Xiaomi but others use an iPhone. For me moving made zero difference as I will buy Samsung again.
