What is the accuracy of it? Most "smart" rings and trackers give you horrendous data that cannot be trusted for any serious use case. Whoop, Oura, Fitbit, despite their annoying subscriptions are at least fairly accurate.

gimm, 23 Nov 2023what a dumb gimmick. smartwatches/smartband are better than... moreWhat you say is true, but it can also be argued that the tiny inconspicuous form factor is what makes it "better" for people who are looking for that.

Good that competition start to come because market leader Oura is just so bad pricing: 300+ dollars and monthly fee to use the ring. I expect Samsung to finally make these mainstream

For my use smart watch is much better, especially i am looking for Huawei Watch Buds 2, i have super cheap(like 30-40 dollars) Gejian x7 and it is good for the money but tracking is not accurate, screen is not always on, no 3rd party apps and timer app is vibrating like once instead of multiple times, earbuds(yes this is 2 in 1 smartwatch) are ok for listening some music, audio books or gaming but for voice calling microphone is just terrible.

what a dumb gimmick. smartwatches/smartband are better than this with cheaper price

Haris85, 22 Nov 202330 mins to charge 20mAh??? Should be 30 seconds.Exactly. That slow means it's charging at less than 1mAh/minute.

Even USB2 provides more power than that.

            Should be 30 seconds.

Waiting for somebody to review this without pulling a Oura situation.

Not to mention needing to charge yet another device every 4 days or so. But negatives aside, I like where these type of SW devices are going. Eventually tech will improve. Maybe in a couple years would be a worth buy for someone who is serious about their health, provided if these rings are accurate at all.

                              "Hey bro, nice smart ring."
"Thanks! It costed me 200 EUR"
                              "What's it made of?"
"Titanium alloy and a Goodix GR5515GGBD chipset" :)

Damn that is expensive for a ring

Such could be said to be true Ice Ring, or maybe one to rule them all?

Get a smartwatch lol. Not this ring.

Wouldn't IP68 only guarantee ingress protection temporarily? IP69K would essentially mean that the device is completely sealed and would only let in water if beyond a certain depth due to increases in water pressure that it just can't stand against.

If you have a smart ring, you can't just suddenly shower with it on, because it's going to eventually let in water. No idea why anyone would want to get one anyway, but that's besides the point.
