I'm in Singapore, and it is very clear that the iPhone is NOT that popular here. A large percentage of iPhone sales are actually to people from around the region like Vietnam and Indonesia (unlocked iPhone launched weeks ahead of other countries). There's a clear number of locals that stick only with iPhones, but it's clear that most of the iPhone users are expats to Singapore (especially China Chinese, Americans).
