Great decision from samsung. Nowadays intel mobile cpu are better than amd mobile cpu. Because amd 7000 , 8000 series mobile cpu comes with old cpu extensions and ftpm also not working.

We still evaluated the multi-core performance of the new Core Ultra 7 155H at fixed power limits of 28 Watts, 35 Watts, and 45 Watts in Cinebench R23. The performance is better compared to Raptor Lake-P (Core i7-1360P) and Raptor Lake-H45 (Core i7-13700H), but the big problem for Intel is AMD’S Ryzen 7 7840U, which offers more performance at all three power levels.
We are also a bit worried about the Core Ultra U-series chips, which are still equipped with two performance cores. They were hardly mentioned in the press material and the do not get the fast Arc GPU, either, but only a slower version with 4 Xe cores, which might offer the performance of the familiar Iris Xe Graphics G7 (96 EUs).

There are scenarios where macOS is a no-go and you are forced into the X86 space.
I went from zen 3 mobile to intel 13th gen mobile and I couldn't care less about benchmarks as long as the overall package is well balanced.

Now start doing some video editing, oh you want to go game and maybe even stream it, oh you need to do CAD modelling... Yeah thats not happening lol or its going to be a painfully slow experience vs what a 4th series RTX gpu can achieve (it'll be professionals buying the top end model so the dedicated gpu is NEEDED for their workflows/probably used as a work/gaming/content consumption device all at once).
Also you have a desktop pc without a dedicated gpu.... Why? Absolutely wasted space (unless its some super small itx build, if not that was a terrible idea).

Why the graphics card? For MOST people all it does is suck power and generate heat. I bought a desktop with no graphics card and it very happily runs 3x 4k screens. The Intel processor is faster than available in a laptop. 64GB RAM and it flies.

Early tests have shown these core ultra chips are just hype. It’s barely better than even the 13th gen intel, and their power efficiency is still horrendous for a supposedly process improvement. This is not the “Zen” or “Apple silicon” equivalent of intel. It’s just a ho hum next iteration from intel that provides marginal improvements.
As a Windows user, I’m actually getting sick of the state of x86. I thought Apple Silicon would jump start an evolution of laptops. But nope, intel is just chugging along. Went with AMD for better performance and efficiency, but in general performance per watt of x86 camp just cannot come close to Apple Silicon, and they are 3 generations in. Qualcomm is surely needed in Windows camp as intel is just not doing anything.
