And the logo has nothing to do with performance...in fact liking the logo when the product is bad proves my point of gimmick. The equalizer is ok....it's not that amazing. And the headphones are the crapiest most over priced headphones I have ever experienced in my life. You literally have to buy at least a $200 set to get $20-$50 performance.

Remember that beats are for teenagers who like songs with bloated bass. No audiophile will ever buy beats nor be sucked into it. This means HTC cheapens their beautiful phone with that dreadful beats audio logo.

If it was more mega pixels and not HTC we will see great improvements. Still kudos to them on first.

Where i can place a little blame on Samsung for their copying is ther Galaxy S design, which i do admit looks like a 3GS.
HTC clearly copied blackberry and Iphone for the design of the ONE.
HTC follows and stalks Samsung's moves like a hawk..and calls their copying techniques innovations.
Like Steve Jobs said. Good Artist copy. Great artists Steal. HTC is following that path of a-moral and despicable hell

Copy the Samsung's entrance into the secure business market
Copy Samsung with their UI> the Sensation UI was a mess so they copied the touchwiz UI with the One X
Copy Samsung with their GPS technology with Glonass and A-GPS.. HTC didn't know anything about GPS technology, but they sure do copy.
Use Nokia's microphone technology without permission.
that's dirty
Copy Samsung's marketing sytle. At least microsoft did it right with the APple vs Samsung wedding.

For people who talk about camera mp size... Do some research first... Do not make ignorant comments... HTC are trying to give customers something new and have thought out of the box, appreciate it as they are goin in the right direction, giving you quality over mp count numbers... They will of course increase the mp count keeping the sensor size big eventually if the technology permits it in future... The idea of having a big sensor in a phone is an amazing idea.. Has HTC applied it properly or not is a different debate... But at least applaud the idea... Why does the HTC ONE not have the slot for an SD card to boost the memory ? This is the only thing that puts me off buying it . Love the phone otherwise !

the Beats Logo, on the back is nice, and without it, the back of the phone would be just blank, the camera could do with and overhaul, 8MP Ultra pixel, doesn't sound bad.

No more marketing gimmicks like "ultra pixels" please, I thought that it was a great idea until I tried taking pictures from the phone (bad auto sharpening of pictures or algorithm). And drop the Beats Audio brand at the back of your phones- it just bloats the bass, midbass, and high frequencies. Just say that the phone has a great DAC or amplifier. But keep the same beautiful design.

Bare in mind that HTC was the one that came out with bigger phones (the HD2) and also the first one with FullHD display (Butterfly), so guess who's copying who...
(also, Samsung made tons of iPhone clones, so sad)
