I'm n4 owner and content with my phone, got it for $350 only. I feel google will not release a new nexus model anytime soon, just a color change. With samsung and htc going vanilla android this year, google has much to sell in their playstore.
Wait until Apple release low-cost iPhone then that's the real competitor although there's so much midrange androids out there, I'm personally excited to try on iphone with new OS at a 4.5 screen size. ;)

1. Cannot take 1080p video longer then 20 mins per block (4gb limit) unless compression
2. Cannot take 1080p videos with length longer then 3hrs less run out of disk space.
3. Cannot download greater then 3 hd games per time, less run out of space.
4. Cannot update OS / apps if you have too much space used up.
So much for a media consumption device.. No wonder they keep quiet and keep it small, without FHD screen, or high resolution cam.
Even with sdslot, they cannot even exceed 4gb size limit.

Anonymous, 26 May 2013I would prefer an 64gb internal memory if can't put Sd card... moreWe all would like 64GB and 128GB devices but the charge childish rip off amounts for them..Having micro-sd slot allows 64GB upgrade for 38GBP and fast card as well..
The other argument is smash your phone or drop in water and its gone but 99% of time micro-sd slot will survive with all your precious pics/vids..

AnonD-136267, 26 May 2013you are right but when you restart the phone on nexus 4 you... moreThe slow boot-times are more of a problem for lower-end phones (but I certainly can agree with you there), my dual-core krait (before the 600 series) only takes one second longer during booting to load a nearly full 32gig; my old S1 (single-core A9) used to need around 30seconds for the same task, which was admittedly painful during the few times it'd be performed.

There was space inside all the previous gnexus phones as well (there was usually a non-nexus variant of the same body that featured external storage but more bloatware and overlay os). Even if there isn't enough space, I'll allow it to be a fingernail thicker AND a dollar more; why would anyone argue against the option? If you think storing videos on your sd card slows down your phone, just leave them on internal storage or don't put in a card.
