If they would up the cameras and maybe remove the horrible "lettering" on the back I would actually consider a gaming phone. I game 1 to 2 hours everyday on my phone, but can't buy a gaming phone as long as the cameras are not en par with other flagships.

ROG Phone lost its gaming essence anymore. This just looks like a typical normal smartphone you see on other brands. Why put a damn punched-hole selfie cam, lower battery, moved bottom speakers on a gaming phone jeez.
Looks like they're combining the Zenfone form factor to the ROG phones since they'll no longer sell it. Big mistake Asus. RedMagic however is doing the right thing hardware wise. Just need to improve more on software side.

What they should've done:
•Put an under-display selfie camera
•Do not make the phone thinner
•Do not decrease the battery capacity and in fact increase charging speed (even 80W would be good, though 65W isn't bad either)
•Keep the speaker setup of the Asus ROG Phone 7 series

I have mixed feelings - front-pairing speakers are gone, notification diode is gone, no one speaks about audio chip and DAC features. Yes, it's smaller and more compact, but this is no more well known ROG look.
