Honestly apart it being super expensive was it worth making it???
I dont think so.
As long as nobody going to buy there is no sense making this for who???
Millitary???
I dont think so its very expensive.
For example USA spend on military far more than any other country and they slowly going to bancrupt. USA loan is biggest in the world and they are closer to dead than ever.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2024thats a camera friend, not a vr display This display is 0.64 inch OLED 4000ppi (2048x1536) 120fps and it is made od silicon wafer (Sony made those micro OLED displays since 2013). This microOLED you can find in Alpha 1, 7SM3, Canon R3, Nikon Z9. Even VisionPRO from Apple will have Sony micro OLED.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2024Still lame pixel density. S6 Edge+ : 518ppi S23u: 50... moreWhy would you compare it to the S6 Edge+ when the regular S6 Edge had a PPI of 577? If you're gonna cherrypick smaller displays with lower resolutions than the display you're trying to say is worse, at least do it right.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2024Same samsung fanboys that used to bash small iphones for ha... moreExcept those 720p 4.7 inch displays had a PPI of only 326. Not only that but small text doesn't scale nicely with lower resolutions even if the PPI worked out.

400 should be the minimum. Also I'm no Samsung fanboy. I owned a Note 4 back in the day and have always bashed iPhones, but I'm no sheep to one company.

                      Considering the battery drain.

plc, 09 Jan 2024This is great news!!! This means, it would be no problem to... moreTechnically, people don't really notice or need the qhd in phones that sizes, they could even put 4K displays like Sony (it's 1644 x 3840), but the problem is that unfortunately that amount of resolution like that is still way too battery draining and will be more expensive loss since there is more likely to have dead pixels since the chances are greater with higher resolution displays.

I know that I would have those crispy displays if these problems are not noticeable anymore.

How well this display is compare to mirrorless camera's OLED viewfinder such as Sony A1 which has 9.44M-dot on it?

                                Big if true.

If they can push refresh rates to >90 Hz in the first couple of iterations, it would be a game changer in the days to come. Any other consumer focusing OEMs outsourcing these panels should be able to put it to good use.

If scamsung role out their own HMDs, I hope they won't much it up with some Tizen+Bloatware abomination combination...but The Convictson is pretty egregious in this regard.

Derogation of this screen tech has been quite bad unless theres a break through of some kind.
