With solid state batteries, we will have more power for less capacity. A 2000mAh or 2Ah solid state battery would give the same performance as a 7Ah battery, and last longer, support extreme temps like -40c or more as well as +170c or higher. But the temps we need the batteries to run at are -10c to +50c.

Fortunately solid state batteries would make the phones lighter and less bulky which would be beneficial too.

I'm just worried about the battery, and that it will end up with a disaster similar to my OP9pro. I had to switch off 120mhz to last the day, so what's the point.

If 12R becomes global, they would have a cheaper alternative for the masses.

What's good about chinese phones this year is that most of them seemed to finally catch up Apple et Google when it comes to software optimization
Chinese phones have better hardware so if the processing is good, they can technically produce better photos
From what I've seen, the Vivo x100 Pro seems to be the better camera phone on the market ahead of Iphone 15 Pro max and Google Pixel 8 Pro

Nah, I'm definitely hanging on to the 9pro.

I agree, the dimensions are huge
Likewise, the OP 12 is huge and very thick, but this is also due to the large battery.
In the future, processors will be less demanding on consumption and we will not need such large batteries, it will also reduce the dimensions, I think.

Unfortunately, the era of compact phones is coming to an end. the solution could be 48MP Sony's LYT-T808 “Pixel Stacked” Sensors

Which has relatively small dimensions and quality almost at the level of 1-inch sensors. = small dimensions, great photos = more compact phone.
