Uninformed people all the time goes with the ones based on past experience or for what majority goes (Samsung and Apple), informed people goes for what it's best value you can get from technology, they get usually some other flagship device which are better than Apple and Samsung like Xiaomi or Oppo :)

            last year they shipped 226 milion and out of it the s23 series fail to surpass 28 mil units. Thats is a fact.

Instead we have these ad campaigns, that the Samsung owners are paying for I might add. If I were the boss there I'd fire 99% of their marketing department for a year or two. Cut prices on phones a little. Focus on software and production/quality/value. Win back real confidece.

              Don't get me wrong. I'm a Samsung user but I hesitate to buy more because or how they're allocating their resources.

                        Apple has like a 35% lead on single core performance. I can't see the X5 having that jump at all. The X4 has the performance A14 but consuming more power than that first-gen N5 node.

Cpu Exynos beat 8 gen 2 without issues, why? Because Qualcomm use Arm cores which aren't good enough for years.

                          When Sd 8 gen 4 use Oryon cores and if the rumors of 10K GB6 score while using just 8 watts are true then it's going to be tough for any soc with custom Arm cores to match.

                              When koreans focus on something, underestimating them is the most dangerous thing in the industry. Their companies are overall top in every industries but have to choose and focus business due to small population. When Samsung jumped into foundry business 7 years ago, Samsung moved memory and LSI employees into foundry business because there was a good friend Qualcomm Snapdragon and Korea has small population. However, people started to compare chipsets between companies, so Samsung decided to focus LSI again. Samsung's holitual ecosystem memory - isocell - exynos - 3nm GAA foundry is the best portfolio in the world. It's just a matter of time since Dream chip project started.

                                    What a snapdragon crybabies will do now? Kudos for Samsung stepping up their game, GPU for sure will be better than Apple and Qualcomm can come up with. So in this case Exynos will be ending up on Ultra devices no doubt.

                                      What do you think it is that keeps monopolies from forming? Competition. If TSMC was alone they would have no reason to keep prices low or push innovation. We'd be stuck at 3nm forever.

                                      So while I'd never choose Samsung over TSMC at the same price, I want Samsung to put up a fight. I want to support them if they give me a good enough incentive to = lower prices or better performance/efficiency.
