How many weeks does it take y'all to complete a review?

Frank, 29 Jan 2024In your dreams maybe. First ged rid of all these bugs in so... moreBro since beggining of touch screen phones had only chinese ones from many brands, Huawei, Lenovo, 2 times Motorola, Xiaomi. Mostly a high end midranger.
Now having Motorola edge 40 pro for 789 euros no probles or issues with software,

When you speak about electric waste you mean the never fixed camera blur on lenses a hardware issue which samsung tried to fix by software update (which is equal to a plaster on a broken leg) is okay. Same goes for famous green line on most S23 series and A series.

You cant be serious on that.
Lastly For half the price or at least 1/3 less from what Samsung is asking for theior devices chinese made phones are sold giving equal or even better specs worldvide plus a nice accesories in box where samsung gives nothing but a phone and box.
This ZTE Nibia 60 Ultra is awesome. You dare to try which is your problem not my fail.
Maybe if you start using chinese phones you will understand the price doesnt always means quality.

David 040882, 28 Jan 2024Samsung's UI is actually rounding up to be one of the ... moreBro said ZTE uses same CPU and GPU as S23 ultra but packs less ram.
You said their UI is good well if ZTE Nubia 60 Ultra have a lot better endurance rating and most samsung phones are not even top 30 list somewhere is problem.
Evven famous M51 with 7000 mAh cell is way worse than a 6.1 inch Sony V 10 or Sony V 5 with 5000 mAh.
Samsung UI is really garbage they have worst UI among all brands because of worst battery/ram/disk space management.
Endurance rating is average at most charging the battery takes way too long for 2024 and no accesories in box compared to most other brands.
Last good samsung were S10 series. Since then they went to same design same garbage software with no improvements at all.
They did not even tryied to fix camera blur in S23 series and the famous green line in most devices.
The only good thing samsung have is many years of updates in most of their phones.
But since the reality is most people buys on contracts with a 2-3 years monthly plans and then they sells old device and buys new when it still have decent value so the 5-7 years of support really does not matter because if your phone does not get bricked after that long time the hardware will be too old to run new tricks.

Lastly not many people have 1000-2000 eur for samsung S tier or Flip fold Phones in pockets. Majority buys what they can afford at the moment.
Simple fact the S tier flagships 10 years ago were for sale for 500 and now they cost as 3 times as much. But the salary in most countries is not 3 times as higher as before.

Super Android 22, 29 Jan 2024You're right other than the "pure android experie... moreWell you are right. S10 were last good samsung phones from then they went to byrocracy not giving anything in box just phone.
Long time ago had Lenovo Vibeshot back in summer 2015 for years and thhe phone was awesome. Then had my Moto X4 for 4 years had no issues with my phone only 3000 mAh cell but great endurance rating and SuperB phone for everything.
From summer 2021 to summer 2023 had Xiaomi Mi 11 lite 5G. Also enjoyed my xiaomi but their UI werent that great still liked it more than Samsung.
Now from summer 2023 up to summer 2025 will have my Motorola edge 40 pro.
Outstanding phone for 789 euros. Does everything and have superB charging speeds, cameras and many else all important accesories packed in box.
Apart the curved screen (i really dislike curved screens) its really wonderfull phone.
Samsung cost way more and oes way less.

But yes once again S10 were last good samsung. Since then we have same samsung phones with same bloatware same design and litterary nothing new.

Frank, 29 Jan 2024In your dreams maybe. First ged rid of all these bugs in so... moremy dreams or yours.
Look at Sony V 5 and V 10 endurance then talk.
            This Nubia is the same.
I understand as much you cant see the forest because of trees.

Super Android 22, 29 Jan 2024Simple:- Because this a site that heavily pushes samsung... more"Ive had multiple people look at me confused when ive said ive got a huawei or oppo phone or even xiaomi and say "so its not samsung/apple?"."

This is so weird to me to imagine a conversation going down like that. Here in Europe, or at least in Hungary, my vivo X Note is a great conversation starter, because people don't know what it is, but after I tell them what it is, they just wanna know more about it, which I enjoy. They do however usually ask a similar, but technically very different question. "Why not a Samsung or an iPhone?"

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2024If it is using less power per time, then with same battery ... moreEither you are unwilling to accept a simple fact, or you don't understand it. Samsung DOESN'T HAVE a flagship phone that can even come close to the Z60 Ultra's battery life, you can do any kind of math, I don't care, it's not gonna change that fact.

nubia beast, 29 Jan 2024Seeing the hate emoji reactions, it's mostly from this... moreIt's just another bot targeting specifically my comments, ignore it. I just happened to like the Z60 Ultra, but I could've said anything about it, and that account would still downvote me. They never reply anything to me, never want to engage in an argument, because they don't actually have anything to say.

Seeing the hate emoji reactions, it's mostly from this user called "Hardware Hypervisor". Really, are you that much h a t e r of ZTE/nubia? They're really doing good here.

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2024Why do i see a lot of hate in some comments 😔Simple:-

Because this a site that heavily pushes samsung (used to be apple too but they seem to have calmed down a lot with them, pixels is hit and miss with this site but still way more positive than negative and push more than other devices), forget all the issues that come with samsung phones and constant hardware and software issues needing constant fixes so dont subjectively provide this info/push their fancy terminology if certain brands ( apple with its retina display when in reality everything with a ppi of over 320 has a "retina" display or samsungs x2 display rubbish as examples)

Also because 90% of the worlds population base their buying decisions on whats popular (subconcious reaction)/easily manipulated to to thinking a certain way so don't even realise its happening. (proven psychology experients/cases done that prove 9/10 people are easily manipulated, companies use marketing techniques to do this like shoving hundreds of advertisements in to your subconscious every day).

It ends up being "if its not these 3 companies, people dont want to know/mock the other companies even when they are superior in most segments a phone can be". Ive had multiple people look at me confused when ive said ive got a huawei or oppo phone or even xiaomi and say "so its not samsung/apple?".

Cpt.Power, 28 Jan 2024You cant be serious. Samsung have worst UI ,worst ram, disk... moreYou're right other than the "pure android experience" part, my pixel 6 pro was beyond awful for battery, forget using the camera for anything more than 3 mins or you get overheating warning, my mates pixel 7 is constantly needing to be charged too (had to pick them up from the train station waiting for 30 mins because their phone died while out, only had these issues with pixel phones so maybe its a pixel problem).

With sony i had the xperia z1, that was just the worst android phone ive ever used all round and for battery, my other mate always went for sony phones and the same bad endurance/overheating problems occured. Best ive had is huawei and oppo by a landslide (and the s7 edge but that was one of samsungs best ever phones).

Used oneui with my dads phone and 3 mates (s22 i think, an s23 and 2 s20u) and its just not enjoyable to use, not great cam quality either tbh, really dont get the hype around samsung anymore (their last good gen of phone was the 10 series, all after that have been very stale devices). My find x5 after 2 years though still hasnt put a foot wrong and does super well with battery endurance.

Samsung has larger screen with 60% more pixels to push.
Still uses less power per minute.

Zte is not doing any good here. It is fact.
If job was well done, difference would be 3,5 -4h at least.

                            Do math yourself.

Would a Samsung flagship with a 6000mAh battery last longer than this ZTE? Maybe, but it doesn't exist, however this does, so the nubia Z60 Ultra outperforms any EXISTING Samsung flagship in terms of battery life, whether you like that fact, or not.

                                    Samsung s23u does better despite:

                                    - larger screen (2,7%) with higher resolution (60%)
                                    - smaller battery (20%)
                                    - older SoC

                                    Still difference only 2,5h ..

Zte has done poor job here.

Now, I don't know much about ZTE's UI, but I know enough to state that is not better than OneUI, especially given the non-existent software support. And as for cameras, the hardware might sound good on the Z60 Ultra, but it's not better than, say the S24 Ultra, especially paired with their image processing, which isn't perfect, but it's better than ZTE's. Now I like the Z60 Ultra and ZTE's flagships in general. The hardware is good and so are the prices. But it's all about the complete package and you don't get any complete package with ZTE devices just because of their shitty software support.

Which, like I said, also has display tech such as LTPO, has much, much more aggressive thermal throttling, less screen real estate, and not to mention iOS. Apple's biggest advantage is that they create both their chips and their OS. Their processors only have to communicate with iOS, which is specifically designed for said chips to work with extremely efficiently. Meanwhile an Android's processor pretty much has to brute force it and goes through the Linux layer, libraries layer, and two applications layers to get anything done. Compare Androids to Androids if you want to compare battery life to battery size ratio.
