Helio G3X???? Even Android Go won't save this from being laggy with that garbage soc.
Minimum should be Unisoc T606 on lowends. Maybe even SC9863A1 that have better 8xA55 cores.

DarlingYext, 27 Jan 2024An entry level phone should never be called "Pro"... morei was complaining about the usage of "note"...but it's nothing compared to the absolute plague that the word "pro" has become.
I still remember when a "Pro" phone was meant for...pros, people who had to punch-in text all the time, and so, has physical keyboards or other stuff never meant for the average consumer.
And then Huawei started, Apple followed suit, and now everyone is using it for phones that have only a slight spec bump.
to make it worse, CARS from china are using it too.
Just stop, it's becoming an absolute joke.
Thank god "Ultra" is still relatively safe. For now

People lightheartedly say „dead on arrival“ but that is actually true with devices with a Helio G36 in 2024. seems like the only advantage to the ongoing production of said chipset is that there are more options in the sub-$100 segment than before, though they are not good options. Hopefully that will change with time, and more devices with chips like at least Snapdragon 680 or Helio G80 appear below $100.
