Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1

Samsung wont spend resources no the galaxy tab series because it will never sell as good as the ipad (because it cant get support like the ipad) and it will draw attention from the note series which presently dominates the phablet market.

Maybe Note II 10.1 will be high end tablet.Note 10.1 is very good.

Not ony Samsung, we cannot find any high-end tablets running Android. That is the reason that iPad dominates the tablet market. Saminung has decided to use poor display for every tablet except the ugly Nexus 10 which has very boring features.
Sony tablet Z is very good, but still iPad is the better choice due to poor battery life, below average speaker on big device, and inferior display. Samsung will probably sell millions of tablets if it upgrades its Note 10.1 to have hight resolution display, updated cpu and similar Tab 3 8.0 design with the same speaker quality as the original version.

I agree. Whats going on with Samsung tablets ? I have two phones (SGS 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note II) but there is no tablet on offer for year.

You guys don't understand,samsung decided to make the galaxy tab lineup their cheaper lower end lineup of tablets.Their premium tablet lineup up now is the note lineup,can't wait for the next gen note 10.1.

great vision by samsung. 1280x800 resolution on 10" screen and 1920x1080 resolution on 5" screen. Really smart

Specs are decidedly mid-range, but if Samsung keeps them at the same prices as their current Galaxy Tab 2 7 & 10 inchers, then I have no problem with that. £149 for 8" and £249 for 10" seems fine to me.
Though they may get a bit crazy like they have with the new Note 8" at £60 more than an iPad Mini.

Instead of going forward and improving, samsung stays one place or moves steps backward. Note 8.0 is the only tab that makes meaning to me now.

ung going to compete witht the Acer Iconia range which gives 1080P resolution. I have had mine for 6 months now

They are far from it and yes they are ranked no.1 all because of fools that believe in their gimmicks. Almost all of their products are of inferior quality, even the all new S4, if u drop it from a metre high, it cracks. No wonder u think they the best cos u one of the fools to believe that 2013 tablets have 2011 specs...even the Fujitsu tab is far better than this crap...

Why did they remove the front facing speakers?
It is good that they use the bezel for home menu and back and search buttons because I hate when these waste onscreen-space!
