Will happily buy this refurbished in 2 years for $300, when my $200 S21 bought last year will not be software supported anymore. With 5 years of remaining software support, will be much better than any chinese phones would have to offer at this price, or even at $500

paying full price for an exynos chip which is always playing catch up to its snapdragon version is just a no-no for me.
even cheaper chinese brands will have the snapdragon version !

But i can sell S24U again no big problem.
I had S21 Ultra and MI11 Ultra in the same time to and MI11U won the battle for me and i keept it.
MI11 Ultra was definitely a much more funny phone.

Canalys expect major sales in the ultra premium segment (>800$) in Germany, France and northern Europe. Only Samsung, Apple and Oneplus have offerings in that price segment at the moment. So this records sales are following those expectations. Oneplus presence is subpar compared to Huawei and Xiaomi but those two don't have offerings due to a boycot and Apple's supply chain tactics.

We have a Samsung 24 plus and a S24 ultra. Screens are fine the best screen ever so simple. I gif this comment from Netherland.

I believe Samsung did a great job following up the great S23 line with the S24 line, especially with the Exynos 2400 able to hold its own and not being a trainwreck. Well deserved. Anyone looking for a good all rounder phone, you cannot go wrong with the S24 series. Great performance, great camera, premium built, great software, great longevity with updates, simply excellent all rounder.

New clueless peeps, esp foreigners, get roped into buying these only to realize two years later what a big mistake they made lol.
And yes, these will flood used markets in less than a month. Same with any models, icluding iPhones.
