Best selling android you funny. Allow all brands making cell phones to sell in 202 out of 206 countries in world like samsung does and your so called best brand can go nuts.
They did not bothered even to fix S23 series issues thus to your best brand.
Any said chinese competitor does a lot better job than Samsung.

MediaTek have been on an upward trajectory since they abandoned Helio and started Dimensity in early 2020. They've been using the newer nodes from TSMC combined with the newest ARM architecture. Obviously their software hasn't been "super optimised" but they've been getting the basics right. But that strategy has paid off.
But I get the feeling MediaTek doesn't care for the flagship space, they're using that "halo product" as a conduit to move more product of their midrange offerings. Sort of like how people would walk into a Subaru Dealership to buy a Hatch or Wagon, but they get to feast their eyes on a shiny WRX car. It's a tactic. They know it is a niche crowd for the WRX sports car, but the technology on showcase helps keep people interested and happy, and to move forward with their purchase of a different Subaru vehicle. And that's one example, you see that with the Ford Mustang for people wanting a Fiesta. Or maybe even the Samsung S23 Ultra on show, when you go there to buy the Samsung A54 instead.
By the way, Samsung and their Exynos is superior, technically. It is just that their Exynos chipset has been anywhere from 1-3 generations behind from TSMC in terms of the lithography node (ie Power Draw, Performance, etc). So their overall chipset suffers. They sort of "caught up" back when Qualcomm switched to using Samsung Nodes, but they swiftly pulled ahead at the end of 2022.
The current climate looks something along the lines as:
Apple (luxury), Qualcomm (flagship), MediaTek (high-end), Samsung (midrange), Various (low-end), Unisoc (entry level).

Apple A17, QC 8g3, MTK D8300, Exynos 1380, Various Lowend, Unisoc T619.

And Galaxy A54 comes with Exynos.

You're getting one of top class display, ip67 water and dust resistance, a pair of loud speakers, great cameras and most importantly best software support in the class. Asking 8300 is too much from already a good device.
