      It's not like there are a lot of tablets on android that give you microSD and 3.5mm jack also.
      Android tablets just are cheaper and more choice. Nobody actually need flagship performance on a tablet as SD695 be more then enough.

      Playing games on a tablet is also mystery for me as i would think that kids would want to use gamepads and then the tablet be too big for that while phones are the perfect size for that.

      Also Nintendo Switch and the like take away the tablet market cause these are specially gaming devices.

      Tablet is more like entertainment device for reading e-books, comics and watch video content. I had a tablet for 7 years and it's battery died. Most of it's use was at home.
      And even at home not so much use cause phones now are like mini tablets

        The moment they removed 3.5mm jack & sd slot w/c is no excuse on a huge ass tablet is the moment it slowly gonna die.

            Tablet tend to be made for kids when the phone size is sufficient for almost all activities. Only few people using it for professional purposes.

                    A tablet with amoled and a stylus is a super useful tool. To bad the pricing of this combination is extremly high.

                        I'm not a fan from Apple, but their tablets are the only ones that are usable with an OS that was made for tablets. Android tablets are just Android phones with big screens and a system that was made for phones. It's been more than 10 years and Google can't develop a decent OS that works well with tablets.

                          This is happening for several reasons:

                          1. Tablets purchased during the pandemic are serving people's needs already. Come 2025 and we could see growth.

                          2. Phones are getting more and more powerful, which make tablets less desirable. In economics we call this substitute goods.

                          3. iPads are just not great computing devices due to how locked down iOS is, absurd storage markups, and lack of a headphone jack and MicroSD slot.

                          4. Android tablets copied many of Apple's anti-features, making them less appealing. Then they do little marketing, besides the overpriced Samsung S tablets.

                            Apple can be anywhere in the specs area, but tbh, their software for their tablet is excellent.

                            Downvote me as much as you want, but it's my opinion.
