Instead of spending money on curved displays, Realme would have been better off if it spent that on faster chipsets for the duo.

        I am still baffled with people who complain about curved display, not sure how many prefer to carry bricks like S24's and iPhone pro Max ones, ugly big,wide with flat screens, all curved screen phones are slimmer, less wider more pocketable, people really need to get a life, first try flat screen phone and try curved one, before you start complaining :)

            12 pro+ has been in review for 2 weeks now. Do we know when the review will be out?

              These phones looked promising, but I noticed in one review that even the Realme 12 Pro+ lacked both Optical Image Stabilization and Noise Cancellation. Realme omitting such kind of features even in the number series phone means that it has started to deceive people.

                Both phones need $50 price cut. Realme phones drop in price pretty fast so waiting a bit can save some money.

                  12 pro+ has appeared in russian sellers websites, with the cost of about 600$ for the only 512gb model. Thats insane even here, you can buy Oppo X7 vanilla from Aliexpress for this price

                    Currently Realme UI is among the worst UIs as its full of ads,pre-installed bloatware,shady app recommendations.
                    Unless Realme cleans-up its UI,its hard to recommend Realme Phone unless you get a really sweet deal.

                    For this kind of price S21FE is far better device.its little troubled device compared to flagships but against the midrangers,its much better & balanced device overall.

                    Nothing Phone 2,Moto Edge 40 are also very capable alternatives. Display,Performance,UI are much better,just cameras as lacking compared to Realme.

                          If the ultrawide was at least 12MP and thus used a larger sensor (no 12MP sensors that are anywhere nearly as small as the size of that horrendous 8MP 1/4.4"-type sensor exist), the Realme 12 Pro+ would be the ultimate midranger. Still, it's such a good value for money. Shame that they ruined the otherwise amazing design with that ugly camera bump design. They could've seriously used a better cutout. Hell, the Realme 11 Pro+ had a great one, even if it wasn't the most eye-catching, so they could've at least based it off of that one.

                            $320-400 for 6Gen1 7sGen2 is fine if it wasn't bogged down by ddr4 and ufs 2.2

                              12 pro+ can be one if you want the ultimate flagship cameras on a budget. Otherwise just get a Poco X6 Pro or wait for Nothing Phone 2a and Samsung A55.

                                Well, le periscopique camera is a no big argument here because it is only 2 times on Pro model, and barely 3 times zoom on the Pro+. Pleasant, but a no deal-breaker.

                                There is actually a list of drawbacks, which people didn't seem to like all that much in the article.

                                To me the SoC is unjustified choice for all that price, of course. And curved screen, and the overall design too.

                                There is a new Redmi note series out, and i somehow find these phones to be more harmoniously designed overall.

                                  Its a very good looking phone to be honest worth the money they asked for it.

                                    Is the other mid range better? which one is it? You won't find a periscope at this price with a decent SoC either. The battery test is very good without LTPO too...

                                      Edge 40 is way better

                                      Wireless charging, metal frame, IP 68 and D8020 which is much better than 7s gen 2 on realme

                                      Time to move on to moto ✌

                                        Realme was stupid to put curved displays on both models. At least the Redmi 13 models give people the choice.
