We have Apple which I dislike. But we also have Samsung. No any brand is needed.

Since they were pretty much irrelevant in the market, good riddance I guess.

The only good thing they had going for them was FlyMeOS, but their support record was terrible.

Hopefully we see one of BBK's brand going out too. We dont need that much Chinese OEMs selling the same thing with different names.

By the way, why does your compare tool only provide 18 devices for Meizu, none except the M10 being older than the 16?

Now who will blatantly copy iphones and iOS? Good riddance.

Yet another company has fallen to the allure of "AI" without any mention of how it will benefit anyone. Remember that cloud AI is expensive. The only winners are Nvidia and OpenAI.

They not any global only china, who care. Only am missing finish bussines in smart phones is LG.

oh for Pete's sake... how many companies are going to pivot to AI before they realize that the general population doesn't want to be replaced by robots?!

DarlingYext, 19 Feb 2024That's sad, but ever since the moment Geely bought the... moreYou hating on AI makes you sound like a generic Twitter luddite

Looks like we won't have a Meizu 21 Pro, but that's good. They are already terrible at the software part of stuff in phones, in the first place. They should save costs for better stuff.

                      WHAT?!

That's sad. Was hoping someday for their global comeback. I remember wishing back then when MX3 or MX4 came out to have enough money to buy those phones (I was a high school student).

Such an unique designs and software they had. For most of the time until nowadays.

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2024Why AI? Geely did it right? It's like some killed you... moreIf AI wasn't such a huge buzzword right now, this likely wouldn't be happening.

I think Meizu will shift to AI business while the phone business will be focused by Polastar instead.

now they should cut the price huge for Meizu 21 model, maybe i buy one.

aw man, their phones seem cool rip

I don't care. Would never have bought a Meizu phone anyways.

Well now Polestar will continue in Meizu name but people who remember Meizu dont know there is a Polestar.
                                      But lets see.

It’s transitioning from just another smartphone company to just another AI company. Good luck with that I guess
