Qualcomm announces X80 5G modem, FastConnect 7900 connectivity system

The first devices equipped with Qualcomm's new 5G modem and mobile connectivity system are expected to launch in the second half of 2024.

      How much will it cost the user when using the satellite communications support? Right Now, The only working satellite communications support that a common people can buy is the Starlink. Dish cost $599. While the Connectivity is $99 per month.

      Qualcomm just ended their partnership with Iridium. So right now. Qualcomm has ZERO satellites orbiting the planet. What's the use of X80 5G modem?

One of the biggest reasons of why US banned Huawei is not just Huawei had the potential to spy on US, but also US (Qualcomm, Intel etc) were scared of Huawei's technologies. Those American companies were wanting the monopoly of "America number 1st". And of course, the American government knew that, and just banned Huawei. Poor Huawei...

                  Qualcomm has an incredible lead when it comes to cellphone modems,hats off to them and now they are absolutely crushing it, Mediatek is doing a fine job but Exynos is dead last and hopeless when it comes to modems.
