The Magic 5 Pro wasn't impressive on paper on the camera department either, yet look how good it turned out to be. Plus, the telephoto, having such a high res sensor, will certainly be used for more hybrid zoom a.k.a cropping

Still curious why advertise 1920 or 2160Hz if it cannot pass 240.
Same story as the charging. Advertise 100, 150, 240W, but do not reach it , not even for 1s.

The zoom camera is a lot weaker than competitors and the ultrawide is also average so I don't think it's challenging the top camera phones for rear cameras. The rear main camera is the same as the Xiaomi 14 pro so it's also not really as strong hardwarewise as the likes of the Xiaomi 14 utlra or other ultra phones. However, it's also cheaper than the ultra phones. Apart from that though it's really good. The screen is great (especially for those sensitive to oled and screen flicker), excellent audio and the front camera is very good. Also it's one of the very few android phones that support secure facial unlock and secure facial payment.

Really disappointed with the 2.5x zoom lens, they should have 10x.
Also, the software support should definitely be improved since magic 5 Pro didn't even get android 14 yet, even after 5 months after the release..

Mate, the OnePlus 12 is OnePlus' flagship, it packs the latest chipset, excellent cameras, excellent display....everything that you'd expect on a flagship and it also has double the price of the A54. Jon8652, 24 Feb 2024Interested to say how the 180MP 2.5X telephoto works out. It's way worse than VIVO x100 Pro, Oppo Find X7 Ultra or Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Even 30x zoom is already so bad, like an oil painting.
In overall Honor Magic 6 Pro camera software is weak, very disappointing after Honor Magic 5 Pro which was really good smartphone.
