The point is, tech is constantly changing and if company doesn't bankrupt it have a decent chance of being doomed or make comeback. If HMD/Nokia made more phones like Nokia 7 plus they would be relevant now, and we considered them doomed. Let's see if China can make chips themselves. GMS is already a joke to install on huawei devices.

I also have a Huawei P40 Pro that was stuck in android 10 and the service center told me that it is probably a hardware issue. But that was a rare case, most commonly you will have to plug the phone into a computer and manually plug a new software onto the phone.

Plus, you even said that Huawei's 7nm is inferior because it is 7nm? So the Snapdragon 865 is inferior to the Snapdragon 778g because the latter uses 7nm while the 778g uses 6nm? No updates at all.Actually you can convert it and based on what I found, the huawei nova 3 was indeed capable to be updated up to Harmony OS 2 which is equivalent to the EMUI 12 which is again equivalent to Android 12. So technically, your phone was upgradable to EMUI 12, so IDK why it is stuck to EMUI 9, maybe a motherboard problem? My former phone, a Huawei P40 Pro was stuck at android 10 ( EMUI 10 ) and the service center said it is a motherboard problem and replacing the motherboard is like buying a new phone, so I just bought a new phone instead.

Photograph... moreI actually disagree that the 13 could even beat the 14 pro max and the p60 pro, first is the front facing camera. Many complained that the 13 ultra/ 13 pro have a terrible front facing camera plus xiaomi's video sound is terrible. I guess the photography would likely go against the 13 ultra but as far as videography goes, Xiaomi is now catching up. About the Xioami 14, a youtuber compare it to the p60 pro and the mate 60 pro and the results is that Xioami may have overtaken Huawei in overall camera quality but some say that Xiaomi 14's camera is terrible, I guess it is hard to tell. Also, I never mentioned the DXOmark data as it is heavily disputed but you can use it as reference but not to choose the overall camera winner.

So you are literally saying that the Snapdragon 865 is inferior to the Snapdragon 778g because the 865 is 7nm and the latter is 6nm? Dude, do some research to avoid being blasted. Plus, it is not about having a freaking GMS that defines the level of the phone, it is about the specs blud, Chinese people do not need GMS, so that GMS thing would be an invalid point, plus the phone have a 7nm or 14nm processor, where in the world do you find that Huawei is using a 10nm chipset? From China Uncensored or from Winston who uses China hate for a living? Dude, have some research.

You should better buy a P30PRO i... moreI actually agree, but the fact that he said that the Nova 3 receive 1 update and his father's redmi note 5 receive probably 2, is absurd. Maybe there is something wrong with the Nova 3, but I think Huawei did release an update on the Nova 3 being capable on Harmony OS 3 or 4 but changing from EMUI to Harmony OS is a risky and a hard thing to do.

But for me Huawei have a more aggressive and more advance photo processing system. It had a more advance image processing than Xiaomis. Huawei excels much on portrait modes but I think the lack of a good chipset severely hinders Huawei's photo capabilities, and that is a well known fact. Huawei may be having a chipset that is more powerful than the Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 on the Mate 70 series and we will have to see that.

                                  Currently, Huawei has strengths on Photos, but their videography is still lacking, their EIS is not as stable as the likes of Samsung and Apple and the latter two have a superior video quality than Huawei. Personally, Huawei have a superior Portrait and photo capabilities but lacking zoom and video qualities, with the P70 Pro having powerful sensors and good imaging software, I hope this problems will be resolve.

I had Nova 3 with kirin... moreI apologize for that mistake, I do believe that Huawei have only 1 - 2 years of software updates on any device at that given time period and I do believe that Xioamis have a 2 - 3 software updates at that time period so I guess you comment about the nothing phone is valid thou. I apologized, but be aware that nothing phones software and UI is still new and some users are suffering from bugs that they sold their phone or swap it to something else.
