With the new d... morehi, this is only applicable to Amoled/Clear Black Screens like in high end samsung products and some Nokias, where the blacks in Amoled are turned off, thus no power consumption at all. Iphones still use LCDs, so basically, either white/black or any color, it is still turned on.

So white or black theme doesn't really matter.

The Iphone battery drop to zero in 5 houres. With the new design i hope we can last 3 to 4 houres. The white design ask to light up the background LED more. All manufactures switch to dark themes that helps save the battery. >>> Not clever...

In Apple's defense they did listen to the market, that they needed a change in UI...
but with that they lost the sophisticated look of the iphone.

The messages app looks like crap to me(white, gray, blue/green, too simple), the notification banners/dock are simple, flat rectangles, it looks to me like it's simply made in paint. Also, the fonts are too thin, the name of the apps in the homescreen look awfull to me. I like 6.1.4 better IN TERMS OF UI. What's the point of having Retina display, 16kk colors, to show mostly flat white, black gray, green, blue, with simple not-detailed icons/menus?

Only innovation of iOS 7 is new icons?? jajaa come on Apple this is a joke. After steve jobs dead, apple is a dead company. Moreover, new icons are horrible, for kids. I prefer Android where i could put UNLIMITED icon changes and pay half price. Better buy android devices

I wonder how long it takes richest company in the world to develop something really new on desktops - OS XI.

Disappointed with the new iOS. I was expecting something better (like a new lock screen with pattern?) + at least 1 custom equalizer for the music player, then I would have definitely moved onto the new upcoming iPhone this year.
Currently on my Galaxy S4 i9505, and before that s3, Iphone 4s and s2.
Still... Experience on the iPhones is so much better, smoother and responsive all the time... but Android has so many customizations... that's the only reason why I'm sticking with it.
Sad that so far.. Nothing new is really implemented on the iPhone
