Anonymous, 14 Mar 2024Heatsynos good for heating your food It's clear Google decided to cheap out with the less advanced samsung foundry, low quality Exynos modem, low clocks yet worst throttling and performance and sub standard overheating Mali GPU
to boot.

All combined to make a Disaster called as Google Tensynos, which is pretty much a castrated Exynos.

Daemon Targaryen, 14 Mar 2024I used to think this way but I eventually got over it as it... moreEh you're not wrong tbh. Bigger device usually has a bigger battery. But it's a whole different story when on your daily usage you don't use your phone much (yeah I know I'm the minority here, I only use my phone at least 4 hours a day lol). Plus, I usually only use my phone for some social media and some not-so-serious gaming. Many people will be upset and maybe stressed when their phone is lost, but I'm not one of them 🤣 since I never store something that is really important in my phone. That's why I still feel that 64GB of storage is enough, while most people out there feel that 128GB is too little.
At the same time I use my gaming laptop more. In this case I prefer something bigger, because bigger is usually better. Bigger screen (better for gaming & watching movies) + bigger battery + bigger storage.

404, 14 Mar 2024Phones are getting bigger nowadays that most of them are in... moreI used to think this way but I eventually got over it as it’s not 2010 anymore. I got a fairly mint Steam Deck 512 GB LCD for $250 from OfferUp a month ago thinking I would hate the size. It hasn’t bothered me at all and it weighs like 669 grams. It’s a lot more comfortable and lighter than it looks. I use it all the time and I’m okay handling the weight and feeling some wrist fatigue as exercise.

Sometimes you need some resistance and awkwardness to make you stronger. Can’t always be comfortable. No pain, no gain. In time, people just get used to using these gadgets and the humongous size becomes normal. I may eventually get one of these book style foldables and may eventually get used to the size and heft too.

I used to think my Switch Lite was too bulky since I got used to my PSP and Vita slim. After using a Deck, Switch Lite starts feeling tiny. Listen, I use smaller devices all the time. But I do get sick and tired of charging them all the time. So these bigger devices do have their advantages when it comes to battery life.

404, 14 Mar 2024Phones are getting bigger nowadays that most of them are in... moreSad but true. If it folded like a flip phone and wasn't a 7" tablet ok, but this is for younger people with only one device for all their entertainment needs.

Instead of scraping the bottom to get more under 25 sales. Why not make something appealing to adults.. Untapped market and they're already paying for the existing phablet phones their kids use.

(Side note, it was funny and expensive watching kids bust phones monthly with skinny jeans for a few years)

404, 14 Mar 2024Phones are getting bigger nowadays that most of them are in... moreI understand the appeal of larger screen, but I agree with you. The only hope is by making it lighter and slimmer, it will be more manageable to carry.

I got a smart watch for that reason. When I hike, taking my phone out is a bit too cumbersome. Running is almost impossible with the Z. That's why I prefer the current candy bar form factor. I don't want anything over 8 inches unfolded.

404, 14 Mar 2024Phones are getting bigger nowadays that most of them are in... moreThat's what the cover display exists for. Big enough for normal usage, but not so big that it's uncomfortable.
Your statement makes sense in some ways, but it would only be true if we talk about normal slab phones, to be fair. Saying this for a foldable makes totally no sense, like at all.

Darth Caesium, 14 Mar 2024Because 8" inner screens are better for multitasking.Phones are getting bigger nowadays that most of them are increasingly uncomfortable to hold in one hand.

Too bad the market is dominated by people who only care about "big screens" over comfortability.

And here I thought folding phones, when folded, will become the new small phones. Instead, they're getting bigger too.
