    At $899, even though it's $200 less than the base ROG Phone 8, it cost the same as the OnePlus 12 and you get Hasselblad camera tuning alongisde USB3 with wired video out for the latter. Maybe ASUS should make a cheaper compact Zenfone 11 and priced it at $699 like before.

      I do remember Asus gave two phone screen size for the Zenfone 8 series. And since this is the Ultra model, don't discount the possibility of the compact Zenfone being dead. Sony launched the large-sized Xperia 1 first before launching the small-sized Xperia 5 months later, so don't be surprised if Asus copying Sony's strategy.

        The Zenfone line, just like the ROG Phone line, is losing its way by becoming more generic. This was one of the few compact phones left, now it's gone, replaced by another XL phone. Even though I like XL phones and use one currently, I appreciate the option of getting a smaller phone. At least the headphone jack remains.

              Zenfone compact dead?

Clearly a huge issue since I had to buy a new phone. It wouldn't be a problem if I'd bought a smasnug with 30 years of updates.

                      Guess they just didn't have room for a memory card slot huh. Just not enough space in there. Too small of a phone.

                          ultra makes sense. as if it was its bulky sized zenfones. zenfone 11 may be using the same 5.9 inch

                            HTC, gone. Acer, quit. And looks like Asus is doing its best to follow suit. Funny how these Taiwanese companies just cannot complete in the smartphone business.

                                        The find x7 ultra has TWO periscope cameras and it's the only one in the WORLD that's at least something ultra-like what does this ZenFone have that's ultra???
