3rd generatio... moreSamsung will stop immitating Apple in doing many things like removing Jack port from smartphones, only if consumers become more discerning and cease buying smartphones that do not offer commensurate value for their price. Additionally, it is widely acknowledged that Apple has engaged in surveillance of its customers and has been associated with questionable practices, including suspected child labor in its supply chain.
NB: I don't dislike Apple products, for example, MacBooks may be the best choice for me when it comes to computers.

The same company that mocked Apple with an ad for removing the headphone jack, only to tuck tails and remove both the ad and headphone jack.
Samsung will never realize that, no matter how much they copy Apple, Samsung ain't never gonna be the iOS of Android.
iOS and Android are very different in many, many ways.

This phone is going to face major competition. Last year's A54 is cheaper and slightly better. Poco F5, Xiaomi 13T, and Nothing 2a are all in the price range and better phones.

Samsung has remained stagnant for the last 2-3 years, in fact it continues to get worse, the s24 series with the exinos is worse than the 23 series, and the a35 and a55 are the same shit as in previous years.

This thing costs more than double that. It's matched in price with phones that can do a *lot* more. It's capabilities should reflect that.

So does Snapdragon 680, if you're talking about 99% of daily usage. But that's not even the point. It's not as efficient as it's predecessor (we're talking about A54 vs A34 here, so assuming A35 is using the same chip as A54, the comparison will be A35 vs A34) when we're doing a bit heavier task. I've tried it by myself.

PureOS, 18 Mar 2024Exynos 1380 is far from smooth. Most people are not a hardcore gamer that needs flagship chip. Midrange exynos is enough to cover 99% of daily usage.
