So it doesn't live upto it's IP68 rating, maybe in theory or controlled tests, but not in practice or real-world conditions. Same goes for Sony which got fined in multiple countries for not honouring the phones warranty back when they first were touting water resistance.
The Samsung xCover 6 Pro, definitely one of the best devices out there.
If they merely updated it to QC 7g2+ chipset, 16GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1... it would have been worth it. Also update the cameras to the Selfie from S24, and the Main Rear from the S22. Give it 4-8 Years Support, and yeah another banger.

Supus, 21 Mar 2024Nonsense. You can buy that easily in my country.As I said, if you know any third-party dealers or vendors who sell it outside Samsung. I know one that sells it here in Malaysia, but that's about it. Pretty much nobody else other than Samsung themselves officially sells it.

Google distributes updates to every Pixel at the same time, just like iPhone, alongside monthly security updates instead of bi-monthly like iOS.
Samsung has more phones to support than Google and Apple combined (an educated guess if I'm being 100% honest), and they are actually pretty quick with updates as far as the S series goes. If you're about to say that every manufacturer updates their flagships quickly; don't - look at pretty much every Chinese Manufacturer except for Huawei, even Honor which still hasn't updated the Magic5 Pro to Android 14.

Anyway how can a "fair" phone remove the jack like that and claim they are fair, let alone that phone is so thick...

They answered that on LinkedIN but it was probably deleted now. Never mind that they also released an BT headphone lmao.
Otoh, do you have any ETA guess for Xcover6 Pro successor?
