I know Samsung is using Gemini to back their AI efforts....wish it were GPT based, but I'm sure I can just disable it anyway.

I genuinely have no interest in this. The Open AI GPT is significantly better, has live Web access, and I can access it from a gesture from any screen (gesture bar).
Google made a clear decision to prioritise revenue over user experience/s a long time ago, and I will never forgive them for that and I try to use as few of their products as possible.

So Google don't want to provide the Video Boost to Pixel 8 as well>

I mostly use it as text replacement for assistants, but it sometimes finds things I just can't find with search engines. Though it sometimes fabricates facts and points sources to non existent things, but that's very rare and I check things anyway afterwards when specifics are important.

google tried to pull an apple right here

Woke Gemini is unacceptable and unreliable. Better to avoid it at all cost. Earlier my phone received a notification to enable it, but nah, since it's more of Google's manipulation tool rather than an accurate AI assistant, so better to avoid it
