Mobile may become add-on to ur personality but it can't take place of personality.
Off-course software-hardware relationship affects the workability of mobile but no brand give u all things that u want even Iphone.
Company like Mmx which has Indian market where people much bother about price than Mmx always try to reduce price using cheap part as Media-tek processor but that doesn't mean it can't do its job. There may be lack of some features but really there is no need of those features for long example Sony has different features from Samsung while both flagship have same platform.
