how do you not knew this? their main selling point are software updates. which is useless on low end to midrange side. as updates gets heavier every time.

An odd choice for Samsung - surely it would be more profitable for them to use Exynos and that in A55 is also better.

You say Why? -
1. Everytime Update is provided, it takes toll on battery life.
2. Mid-range Phones Updates aren't that optimised & tested on phones before making public release.
3. After Each Update, your battery life reduces, if you go for this chip + each month 1 security patch + 1.2 year for 1 major Android Update time combining it with 4 years of Major Updates & 5 years of Security & UI updates, consider your battery life reduced to 40-60% instead of original 20% reduction.
So how can you say they overpay you with updates ?¿

Biggest disappointment is 5k battery - too low. M51 has 7000 !

Meanwhile the M55 is under specced and also looks boring, so definitely a pass
