But the rest, I agreed .. just incremental upgrade with each gen .. nothing much to offer .. 5% - 10% faster than prev gen is not really noticeable irl.

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2024my needs have been met at sd 845, if i have to upgrade I’ll... moreI suggest you to wait Qualcomm is going to launch 8 Gen 6 with 10 Cores & 8 Gen 8 with 12 Cores as per rumours but there's one confirmation that by 2030 we'll have 12 Core Processor , Adreno 900 GPU , 576MP Camera Support , 8K 60FPS, & 150FPS Gaming Support. Might get to see 12x Optical Zoom Cameras as well so the wait is worth it. 6G is supposed to be available till 2029-2030 if not you'll at least get 5.5G. So, many tech improvements so wait is worth while buy new phones for minor tweaks & improvements is wastage of money.

Xiaomi on the other always get a overheat warning and crashing issue during benchmark test due to not throttling their perfomance. It's mainly their software fault that never bother about heating to keep the perfomance high. If you think about it the perfomance is really good but at what cost? A risk of explosion or bad battery life? Samsung is playing safe after Note 7 incident I guess

Slightly tweaked camera, latest Android number, and ... moreThere is still a limit on how much you can upgrade anything while keeping the same price or having a slight price bump, for example the S24U is just barely different to the S23U hardware wise, same with the Xiaomi 13 and 14 series, it's cause they want to stick to the same price range while improving upon stuff
