It´s no surprise Samsung S4 sales are not as good as expected.
Upon S4 lunch, Samsung should let users know all phone versions they were about to sell.
The message they are sending with this marketing police of a surprising new phone version every two weeks is that users should hold their plans to by S4, until all versions are known.
And if the LTE-A news holds true, that means that Samsung is rewarding those users that haven´t bought S4 so far.
Why have them adopted a marketing campaign that leave us so undecided?

Samsung Galaxy S4 is one of the best smartphones right now. I cannot understand why the people who bought it are upset. Benchmarks don't matter in everyday use. Nevertheless, the only ones they have to blame are themselves. With the few exceptions who are of immediate need of a new phone because the one already have doesn't work, the rest just go and buy whatever is new, without waiting for the market to settle down and for the main competitors to release their proposals.

This news smells fishy, anti S4 marketing campaigns are all over since S4 is selling so good the competition is desperately trying to spread false rumors in order to divert users attention from Samsung and its awesome products.

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2013Umm.. how is releasing a better product not keeping consume... moreAre you serious? It's not keeping consumers' interests in mind because it's essentially withholding information from them. Since the Galaxy series is now a well-established brand, it's understood that there's a new one each year. For Samsung to nix that arrangement by releasing the S4, and then saying "Surprise! Here's the real S4!" is essentially to give the middle finger to anyone who bought the S4 initially.

if Samsung wants to avoid marketshare leakage, they must replace (if not gratis , with a very pleasant incentive) the 'old' S4 with a newer one. in any case that was a really BAD time frame product management!!

The reason S4 is having disappointing sales numbers is because the time when S3 was released and the time S4 was released is so near to each other. Most people decide not to upgrade at all coz there really was no need to do so. And now this report if its true, will definitely hurt S4 sales numbers.

Samsung always tries to release the best and newest technology before the competition does so and that is good news indeed.

Samsung would have been better keeping this to the Note III,than launching another S4 with better specs, then launch the S5 with LTE-A.
