Bob, 03 May 2024don't get any. i got the redmi note 13 pro 5g about 3 ... morehyperos is hot dogs*it, most annoying """features""" I've had the pleasure of using is the disappearing always-on notifications (like from an always on vpn, that to pause for 5 minutes I have to open up the app itself and fiddle there, instead of using the missing notification(comes back after using the app, but disappears on its own accord)) and the quadruple messaging notifications, the first ones come too late after actually receiving a message, you can open it from the notif tray or straight from app, you will still get the same notification as unread in couple more minutes
upgrading an OS on any smartphone has always been a crappy situation, unavoidable problems galore. I suppose a factory reset after every upgrade would suffice, but I'd rather not spend a full day setting everything up every time they decide to run the loop that increases version number by 1

don't get any. i got the redmi note 13 pro 5g about 3 months ago. updated to hyperos about 10 day's ago. it is full of bugs and broke all notifications [i have missed lots of calls and messages]. their are no custom roms [i checked this morning] from reliable places like lineage so far thus negating that possibilty if you can actually get passed all the hoops to unlock the bootloader.

this is market dependand. here the 13 pro got 8/256 with 12/512 variant released last week. but the latter's price is creeping too close to pro plus' with only 50$ difference.

They look the same since they're essentially the same phone, yet here it's the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. Note that the 4G version is different from the 5G version

IMO, I'd spend the extra money on the 13 Pro+. That is a BIG and noticeable CPU and GPU upgrade. Faster UFS 3.1 and double the storage.
I prioritize the display, performance and battery over the camera.
