The biggest problem will always be their software update policy. Honor, even in China, barely offers 2 years of updates for anything other than the flagship Magic series that gets 3. The rollout is also quite slow even on those, which isn't a huge deal but it's still not ideal.
It's such a shame, because their hardware is pretty good and MagicOS is also solid although somewhat heavy. If they up their game to at least match the industry standard then they'd be in a much better place to compete for market share, globally speaking.

8 series for the Honor midrangers. Wished of the days like Honor 20 Pro where it was a proper flagship killer with good battery, good specs and good cameras. Huawei/Honor was dead the moment the US implemented the sanctions not because of security reasons, but because Huawei was developing faster than the US could keep up.

Hopefully they bring a better design than the ones we saw on the 100 series and hopefully, they don't look ANYTHING alike the 200 lite; that's just one of the ugliest phones from the past two years
