Sort by:

First of all, ditch the partnership with Samsung who is providing crappy Exynos remapped as a premium processor

Secondly, get someone like Mediatek engaged and use their premium processor (with or without remapping).

Finally, look at OnePlus and learn how to make affordable phones (not nord or ace) reasonably well.

            At most, Google should discontinue/upgrade vanilla Pixel instead of A series.

              Several rumours point out the Pixel 8a has an almost similar RRP to the Pixel 8. If that's the case, it doesn't make sense for Pixel A to exist anymore. Maybe Google should do some family refresh and let the current Pixel A becomes the future vanilla Pixel, while the current vanilla Pixel becomes the future Pixel Pro, and the current Pixel Pro becomes the future Pixel Pro XL or maybe a Pixel Ultra with similar price territory as the Samsung Galaxy S Ultra, Apple iPhone Pro Max, and Sony Xperia 1.
